What To Expect

It can sometimes be difficult, or uneasy, when visiting a new church for the first time, so hopefully the following news will help ease those feelings. 

• How should I dress?  Many people coming to our community are here to relax, enjoy a vacation, or come for business, so in our worship services you may see people dressed casual, or you may see people in their business attire.  Dress how you feel comfortable.

Worship

• Celebration Worship, at The Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge, each Sunday beginning at 10:30 am with prayer.  Worship is generally an hour to an hour and a half with emphasis placed on communicating with God from our hearts to His; so when you first come in the theater you will have freedom to pray alone, with someone, as a family, or in a group.  

• Music is sometimes with instruments, sometimes with CD tracks, and sometimes with just our voices.  Our worship music is to bring Honor and Glory to God.  Sometimes you will see and hear people expressing worship through singing, some sing and clap, and still some may just simply raise their hands and be praying silently before the Lord.  Some may feel free to worship without moving a muscle and simply be in prayer.  Our hope is that everyone would experience the heart of worship to our savior and King, Jesus Christ.

Our Time of Giving

God has blessed us with abundance in our lives, our health, our jobs, our families, and His word; we are honored to give back to Him.  Each week there is a time to worship God through giving of tithes and offerings.  This is an act of worship for whoever desires to give from a joyful heart.  It is a time of thanksgiving and the offerings allow Church of The Way the means to reach more people in the community and around the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

The message from God’s Word

Each Sunday morning you will hear a straightforward message that is based on Scripture, designed to be a guide for you in everyday life.  Our desire is to point you in the way of truth without error.  There will be times that we are privileged to have guest messengers from all across the region and world that share our same mission and vision.

After the worship service

At the conclusion of our worship service, please feel free to visit in the lobby and receive information concerning how you may grow your walk in Christ Jesus.  There is opportunity for you to develop relationships with other attendees visiting Church of The Way during the weekdays.  Please check out our “The Way to Live a Victorious Life” table in the lobby.  Also, visit our information table to find additional ways of being a part of God’s work in Giving, Praying, and Serving through this local fellowship of believers.
